Honorable Mention Winter Passage Paul Lyons Ice breaks along the Hudson, leaving ducks that passed this frozen season here to float among the boats in dock with hulls that show a need for paint; an odd communion in this saline arm of the Atlantic. Winter held for good this year. My daughter who just learned to swim notes their awkward progress, thinks the ducks could stand a touch of color for themselves. |
